nursing care staffBloomsbury Home Care's quality system is known as STPAS, which stands for:-

Selection:  we take great efforts to recruit the best.  We're not after quantity, we want quality.  Each support worker:-

  • fills in a detailed application form
  • is interviewed by two people
  •  is referenced and CRB-checked

Training:  all staff receive thorough induction and ongoing training.  Bloomsbury Home Care is registered as an NVQ Training Centre and encourages all staff to pursue qualifications.

Procedures:  though it's a necessary condition, training is not sufficient.  The brightest people will forget key elements of a training course within weeks of attending it.

That is why Bloomsbury Home Care issues comprehensive procedures manuals to all staff, to reinforce best practice.

Assessment:  a key part of our service is to visit you before a service starts to find out what you would like and to match our most appropriate support workers to you.

Supervision:  once a service starts, we keep in contact with our clients and staff.  A local team leader will visit you regularly to make sure you're happy with the service and to give support to staff.

Bloomsbury Home Care's whole quality system is backed up by state of the art computer systems, including electronic monitoring, which ensures 100% reliability.
